Claire Wright joined Ottery Town Council in March 2009. With a daughter at West Hill Primary School, Claire is very keen that local children and young people have somewhere safe, but exciting to play, and was instrumental in preparing the bid to Devon County Council for funding for a play park for West Hill, alongside Cllr Roger Giles.

 

Having lived in West Hill since 2006, Claire is a freelance public relations adviser with a background in the public sector, including the NHS and county council.  She is cares strongly about local issues, including the preservation and enhancement of market towns, compassionate farming and the countryside.

Claire has lived in East Devon nearly all her life.
